Tawnisha Harbour: an update

Action 3 News in Omaha, Nebraska, reports that Tawnisha Harbour's mother, Cherie Harbour, 40, has been sentenced to 3 to 5 years in prison in connection with her daughter's death. She was charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult, and will be eligible for parole in one and a half years.

As conveyed by FRIDA in earlier posts, Tawnisha Harbour, 23, died after suffering burns to her arms, legs and face in a house fire. It is alleged that Tawnisha, who used a wheelchair, was left unattended in the house and was unabled to escape when the fire broke out. According to police, Wendy Harbour locked Tawnisha in her bedroom by tying a bedsheet to the outside door knob to the room. That made it impossible for her to escape when the fire broke out.
